Popped along to see the much talked about Glasvegas as part of the NME tour at the Carling. Sorry, O2 Academy Birmingham. Tried to get there as early as possible so as not to miss any of the bands, but once again missed the first act, which disappointingly was Florance and the Machine...

I went to see one of my favourite bands, The Cribs at The Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton. I have been a great fan of all three of The Cribs albums, and having been unable to see them in the flesh last year (cause I couldn’t get anyone to go with me!!), I was (shockingly) excited at the prospect of a Thursday night in Wolverhampton, and this time I was more than able to get people to come along.
